Led the well-respected Lynn University Fighting Knights in scoring averaging an impressive 14.5 points per game and also led LU is assist (90+) during his senior season. Also, pulled down 4.2 rebounds per game. On the defensive end led the Sunshine State Conference in steals with 80+ (ranked 10^th nationally). Shot over 40% from behind the three-point arc and 80% from the charity stripe (free-throw line). Considered a high-quality pro prospect with great instincts and skills.

Smith is a remarkable and versatile guard who is very crafty. A player that displays great upper body strength. A complete player who knows how to run a team from the point guard position and has the skills to play the off guard position as well. One of the best all-around guards at camp in '07. Great at setting his teammates up and keeps everyone involved. Has great composure, which he shows at all times. Has great ball handling skills and had a great assist-to-turnover ratio at camp. Shoots the ball well from the outside and has good range. High-quality rebounding guard who is able to get rebounds and start the fast-break. Fundamental defensive player who moves his feet well and plays good off the ball defense. A player who would be a good addition to a wide range of pro teams.
