Considered a true point guard while averaged 14.0 points and a team high 120+ assist during his senior season in 2006-07. One of the top assists men in the USCAA. Regarded as a solid outside shooter and made 34+ three pointers on the season while shooting a team high 42% from behind the arc. Also, averaged 5.6 rebounds per outing. Measured as a solid defender and good player.

2007 TTI Fourth Team All-American Selection

Rivera is a true point guard who played well at our '07 Camp. Ranked 2nd on Team Magic with 4.0 assist per game. Helped lead Team Magic to the second best overall camp record in '07 and a trip to the Camp Championship Game where they lost to Team Lakers on a last second shot. Very coachable player who has a great understanding of the game. Quick! Has very good ball handling skills and sets teammates up well for scoring opportunities. Very unselfish player as well as a very good passer. Good defender who moves his feet well. Seemed to be coached very well throughout his playing career as he displays good game knowledge. Does a lot of the little and extra things from the point position, which was one of the reasons Team Magic had success throughout our camp. An overall solid performer!
