PRE-CAMP OUTLOOK FACTS:

Considered arguably the best overall player in the Sooner Athletic Conference as said by some SAC coaches. Helped lead The Crimson Tide to an NAIA National Tournament appearance and a 26-6 final record. Averaged 15.0 points (2nd on team) and a team high 4.5 assist per game. Also, pulled down 4.0 rebounds a night. Has honered as an All-Conference (SAC) performer as well as a 2006-07 NAIA All-American. Regarded as good outside shooter who made 50+ three pointers on the season. Was invited and worked out with New Orleans Hornets –NBA and Coach Byron Scott (Scott – “Watching Dawson, I really do think he has what it takes to make that jump (NBA).”). Some pro analyst considers a highly talented pro prospect.

Dawson was arguably one of the best overall performer at our '07 camp and ranked as one of the TOP 5 GUARDS! What's more, this gifted player may have put on one of the best single game performances throughout the weekend versus Camp Champions Team Lakers as he posted 25 points (5 3-pointers-ranks 5th All-Time), 6 rebounds, 7 assist and 6 steals, which ranks ((steals) 3rd All-Time (TTI Records)). Dawson has also been one of the few players in '07 who has helped re-write our record books as he is ranked 4th All-Time in single game assist with 11, 3rd All-Time with 6 steals, 5th All-Time with 5 three-point field goals made, 5th All-Time in steals average per game with 3.0, and also made our prestigious Top 5 All-Time Defensive Stoppers (Ranks #1). Held camp averages of 14.0 points (2nd on team), 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assist (Led team-one of camp leaders) and 3.0 steals (Led team-2nd at camp-5th All-Time). A player who can play both guard spots extremely well and effective. Quick and athletic. Great leaping ability. Very good outside shooter. High-quality rebounding guard. A defensive wizard who plays amazing on the ball defense and really gets into opposing offensive players. Great basketball understanding and a player who is just a definite pro on the next level. Great basketball player who has NBA tools!
